Overview
GrowthCap Forum was born out of GrowthCap, which was founded in 2013 to enable founders, CEOs and LPs to identify and partner with the highest quality growth investment firms. In 2023, GrowthCap Forum was founded to enable exceptional founders, CEOs and investors to convene, develop relationships, and share insights on how they build and scale exceptional companies for the long-run.
Background
RJ Lumba is the founder of GrowthCap and GrowthCap Forum. He is also the founder of Market Insight Media, a holding company that owns and operates a portfolio of business media properties. Over 80,000 CEOs, investors and industry leaders stay up to date on market news and insights across high growth sectors through Market Insight Media’s digital properties.
Previously, RJ was a vice president at Lazard Frères and senior member of its alternative capital finance group where he advised private companies in raising capital from institutional investors and family offices. Prior to joining Lazard, RJ was a vice president at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in its private equity directs group. RJ earned an MBA from Cornell University where he was a Park Fellow and a BS in commerce from the University of Virginia.
